Yep, cooked mine real good when I went road racing this last weekend, down pipe came loose and had a big exhaust leak... Melted my upper cover and stretched the belt a little :(. So i'll be ordering up a power enterprises belt from modern performance, wanted to know if you guys knew the part #s for the tensioner, tensioner pulley, idler pulley and whatever else I need so I can order those up too?

Note: I know vfaq has an extensive parts list but they even say they're for 90 and the parts changed over the years.

P.S: this seems to be a common occurance, so make sure your exhaust system is in top shape before hamming on your car for an extended length of time.... http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/road-course-autocross/254800-melted-upper-timing-cover.html

Wow! You are extremely lucky! You will either want to remove those balance shafts or replace that belt: MR984778.

Ya, I think it's been like that for a while (only put 1500 miles on car since I bought it in october). I've already ordered a PE timing belt and balance shaft belt :thumb:.

I cleaned it up tonight :D
