Well I broke my crank pulley the other day and was looking around to acquire one. There is someone about an hour away from me with the OEM 2g crank pulley selling it for $20. There is also someone else with a 1g OEM crank pulley which i know can work on my 7bolt...he is selling that for $10 and is like 15 minutes away from me. Do you guys think I should go the safe route with the original 2g and take the longer drive/spend a little more money in the long run...or would I be better off just getting the 1g crank pulley locally and save myself some money?

Buy the Fluidamper pulley at the least. I killed two of the stock pulleys. The stock pulley is designed to harmonically balance the stock motor. You've got a lot done to your car. Go the next step and do the pulley. It is just a tad lighter than the stock unit and revs very smoothly. Like butter!

Well the one i broke was the original crank pulley so it has seen it's life...I am definitely getting the fluidampr for my 6 bolt block that i am building.....going with either a 35hta or 37hta on it so it will be putting down some decent numbers

I wouldn't recommend buying a used OEM balancer. They wear out pretty quick relative to other parts in the engine. But if you're in a pinch and will drop the 6-bolt in soon, go for it if you can inspect it before laying down cash. Make sure it's not already separated.
