So I just noticed that when my turbo timer shuts down the car both doors unlock automatically, WTF? I'm not sure if it has always done this but it's very annoying now. It is an apexi TT and I do have Keyless entry and the factory alarm in my car. I have been searching the forums and found quite a few post with the exact same problem that I have, but no one has figured out the solution. Anyone think they can solve this one?

Remove the turbo timer and put it on eBay where it belongs. You have no use for one with a water-cooled spool.

But, since you won't go with that answer, have a lovely time trying to figure out what's either been wired or configured backward on that setup.

have you ever had the driver door open with the key in the ignition and locked the door? notice how it wont allow you to lock both doors when the key is in the igniton? thats so you dont lock your keys in the car in the ignition. you might have the power going to the wrong ignition source so it thinks the key is in the ignition.

You Need To Take It To Who Put Your Alarm In. There Should Be Something In Your Ignition Switch That Locks And Unlocks Your Doors Automatically. When The Car Shus Off It Gets A Signal To Unlock The Doors Should Be A Relay Or Switch Find It And Toss It.

I actually have this same problem but I don't turbo time my car. Probably because I don't beat it that much or if I do I drive slow and let it cool down.

Thanks for all the replys, I guess I'll try and rewire it, the guy that owned the car before me put it in, maybe he did it wrong.

Im probably going to check and see if their is a wire harness on their tomorrow, if not I will look into buying one, you guys think that will solve the issue?

The switch for that is a feeler in the ignition that actually feels for the key. I don't know if a TT would run through that.

Yes, definitely, perhaps maybe. We can't see what kind of spilled spaghetti you have for a wiring setup now, in the pictures you didn't post.

Start tracing your wiring before buying parts.

I got a direct harness kit for my Greddy Turbo timer worked greatm no door lock problems : )

If I feel like it I'll take a picture of my stock alarm. I found it under the dash when I did my TT. It's probably the same as this dudes.

It's not the TT at all. Its the settings on the alarm that when the car shuts off, the doors unlock.

Thats what I was thinking too, because when I disable the TT and turn the car off, the doors will unlock, so how do I change this setting and make this work right?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread...figured it would be better than starting a new one.

I have this same issue, and according to this post, I need to change the setting on my alarm to LOCK the car when it turns off. How would I go about doing this? The thread died before there was an explanation given.
