Did the Venom SMIM come in black?

Hello,
My friend has a Venom intake manifold, it's black. Well he owes me money and wanted to give it to me. It's brand new and has only been put on the motor. I have never seen a black venom SMIM. He said that he didn't paint it or get it powdercoated, but he is known to tell stories . Anyway i thought i heard something about one of the SMIM manifolds being really rare that were black? I'm not sure if it was a venom or magnus? I wouldn't want it and wouldn't even know how much it's worth! Do they make these anymore?

Yes they came black,red,chrome,blue,and purple.

oh really i wander if they sold any of them . Who would want a purple intake manifold? I would like to see some pictures! i'm going to be selling this one real soon!

I don't see who would want a venom manifold when you can get a JM fab or magnus one.

Yeah i see what you guys are seeing. But, weren't the venom one pre-magnus and jm? I thought they were? You will be able to see a black one soon enough. I will be posting a picture of it tommorrow when i go to sell it. My friend had a 91 eclipse gsx, that he put over 10 grand in but never completed. Just the body of the car had alot of body work and has a new paint job and he has a second 90 parts car. He is selling everything. You name it the car probably has it and everything is new from the buil motor(je/eagle combo, hks 254/272) to the turbonetics t3/t4, big dejon intercooler, tial WG Turbonetics manifold. It has everything, ashame it was never finished!
