Well, Im new to this and I just bought a 95 talon. Its a turbo with only front wheel drive automatic. I bought the car with some mechanical issues, which, I was able to address, like struts and ball joints, tie rods, and more to come. Well, I noticed when I turn on the lights, that they all turn on when I turn it to the parking lights mode. And recently they have been turning off while I drive. I checked fuses and relays, they seem fine. Also, the windows dont work but the power locks work. Does any one have any ideas? Please let me know, ask questions, I need to get this issue resloved because of the driving at night. I dont want to cause any accidents, or get a ticket. Thanks for reading the post. Please help me out. Hazards dont work but turning signals do.

Sounds like you might have a couple things going on there. Start with checking your battery cables, give them a few good tugs to make sure they don't move. Pull the car in a garage or on the shadowed side of a building (or wait until night) and just play with the headlight switch/turn lever, wiggle it around and see if you can get the lights to go out. I would focus on the headlight issue, you may fix the other issues when you fix the lights.

I tried that too, like toggling the light lever from hi to lo, up and down. And its wierd because if I drive around and hit some bumps they will turn on til I hit some more bumps. So I know something has to be loose, but where is my question. New engine harness? I dont know, I hope I find it soon. I love that u guys are getting back to me thanks. I checked the bulbs connection and nothing. Its got an eclipse front end. Like I said before, I bought the car this way.

If the front clip has been changed that may be the cause of your problem. I would trace the wiring harness from the steering column, thru the firewall and around the engine compartment looking for places where it's not fastened down or maybe not routed correctly. Turn the headlights on and wiggle the harness around. Also look for loose connectors, burned/pinched wires, loose/missing ground bolts. Do the parking lights go off with the headlights? Have an aftermarket alarm?

Kudos on posting clearly and intelligently. :thumb:

No alarm on the car that I know of, lights do go off when parking lights turn off. Im going to wiggle some more wires but in the mean time, I just picked up some driving fog lights, gonna install those to get me through the night. I did some experimenting last night, if I keep the lights on high, they stay on. If I put them on low and drive around, they'll turn off. Well, so far thats what happened last night. Thanks for the feedback.
