I have the e316g mounted up and oil lines ect. all ran.
I got the ssac fmic bolted on and pass side piping ran to the intake.

Problem;

The j-pipe that came w/the e316g does not look like it will work at all w/the fmic.
It comes down about the right length, but back too far. If I were to try and direct flow to the driver side from it, I have to either go under the crossmember which I do not want to do, or have a piece bent to route it in a 90, then bent so that it will clear the motor mount down there.

I know other ppl sell j-pipe's but I am totally unsure as to which one I would need.

I looked at one from ETS but it's hard to look at something and be sure it will work w/out having it in your hands.

Does anyone know what I need, have one for sale, or know where I can get one?
I am trying to do this w/out the hassle of having to go to a local exhaust shop and having it fabbed up.

Oh, this is what my kit is, as well as what my j-pipe looks like.

You need the short route FMIC J pipe. I believe most people get it from dejon.

This is what I found on Dejon's site, and it def doesnt look like it will work. It doesnt look any dif than what I currently have, which is far from working.

the one that you bought with your kit is probably meant to go with the stock intercooler/side mount. Basically it's off on the passenger side and and your short route piping is too short.

The pipe you're looking at actually bends over towards the driver side making it a whole lot closer. it's angled differently, which is hard to see in the picture.

Slowboy Racing also has a J-Pipe that I've personally used and it works great with a short route piping.

Ok, looking at the one in that link you posted, and looking at mine, it is clear that the pipe will be positioned differently due to the bolt holes on the flange.

Thanks for the help man!

This pipe also works, its what I use, and is cheaper. got mine in 3 days
Punishment racing Jpipe blowout

When you look at the Jpipe picture, its hard to see, the extra curve it has.. this pipe routes to the driver side of the lower engine brace. matched perfect with my SSAC shrot route kit.
