1.8 gear oil, howmuch?/valve cover change

okay so i found that site, that shows were the drain plug is and fill plug, but how much gear oil do i need, im thinking 2 quarts? but one of the ricers at autozone told me to get a gallon in case so i got 4 of these bottles now. also it said my fluid type was 75-85, but they didnt have any so i bought 75-90, will that be fine? the ricer told me it would just be harder to shift etc, which my car already is tight through all the gears, feels like a corvette gearbox only on a crappy car

also sealing the valve cover today, is there anything major we have to take apart, like on the right side the timing belt?

i wouldnt use any lube other than the one the manufacturer says is needed
