stock clutch is biting the dust

I'm at the point now where the stock clutch is biting the dust after 120k. I want to upgrade but I am not sure what to get. The car won't be a drag car just something fun for the street. My eventual plans were to get the evo III big 16g, some 550's, a safc2 and the 190lph fuel pump. I would like to eventually run enough boost and with a good tune hit 300 whp or so.What am I looking to spend? From what I can see without the clutch it seems to be about $1500, if I can get it for less any info is appreciated. I'm not sure if I really need the upgraded turbo or if I can just do bigger injectors and tuning and such. I've been following the upgrade path but I'm kind of at a crossroads now. Any info is appreciated, thanks a ton. - Alex

Stale and predictable answer but a ACT2100 or equivalent will fit perfectly.

If you want the cheapest clutch you can find, with the performance of top name brands, go with an XTD clutch from ebay. I did and I'm very happy with how my setup performs (and still performs, contradictory to claims from paranoid dsmers).

Same as I have. If the stock clutch got you to 120k the 2100 is going to work just fine. It would be a great time to upgrade the flywheel for a lighter one at the same time.

Replace or rebuild the master cylinder, the slave cylinder and the ball pivot. I keep hearing people advise to replace the fork but if there isn't anything wrong with it, it's not bent, or eaten into keep it. You should examine it for cracks. The 2100 really doesn't really have a much stiffer pedal feel than the stock clutch. A new OEM metal throwout bearing is the ticket too. Tons of people have it on their DSMs because it's solid and works.
