Dumb question: When referring to HP on this site

All the things that I have read about the upgrade paths, etc always refers to making 300 hp, or 400hp, etc.

When this is being mentioned, is this referring to AWHP or at the crank? I just want to make sure I understand, so sorry if its a silly question.
 
Most people are referring to hp at the wheels, or at least that's the way I see it. You can determine if it's awhp by their profile. People either have a goal to hit when they dyno their car ("I want to have 500hp") or they do dyno their car and post their results. The dyno measures the hp at the wheels. You'd then have to do a bit of calculating to get an estimate of your hp at the crank.
