I am new to the forums but I own a 92 Eagle Talon N/T, I had bought the car and the clutch would engage fine for the first week then now all of a sudden the clutch isnt engaging at all. It has a new F1 racing stage 2 clutch, I thought it was the master cylinder so I replaced it and still wouldnt engage, Then I replaced the Slave cylinder Bled the lines like 30 times. But it won't go into 1st or reverse without starting it in gear, also when im driving down the road it grinds though gears unless I RPM match I am mind boggled any advice would be great thank you.

Did you bleed the clutch right? Sometimes i need to bump2nd before i can put it in 1st,and bump5th before i can engage reverse. So you can start it in gear with the clutch in and the clutch works?Sounds like an adjustment, but more info will help

It's either your ebay clutch, clutch fork, a tiny hydraulic leak, adjustment of the master cylinder shaft (clutch pedal feel), throw out bearing but you should have put a new one in with that clutch. What happens when you push in the clutch pedal? Any sounds? Need a little more info!

If I read this right you dont have any trouble with 2nd,3rd,4th or 5th gears? If it is only first and reverse it might be a tranny problem. Just for the sake of it have a friend get in the car and you look underneath and watch the throw of the slave rod as your friend pushes down on the clutch pedal. Then have your friend pump the pedal several times and measure the throw again to see if it is different. If it is from the first time then you need to bleed the clutch some more. Keep us posted and let me know if I can help you any further. Travis

Oh yea I forgot to mention whenever it is in first with the clutch in it still wants to go forward and it shakes the car bad and i know its not my TOB ### there is no noise and I bled it right because there is no air in the lines at all but, for some reason every once in a while if I pump up the clutch enought it will engage for a min but thats only happened to me a couple of times, Also I dont think it is the lines because im not getting air in the lines, also i put an extended slave rode thinking it might solve it but it didnt.

Yea sounds like you need an adjustment. My car has done the same thing. If you sit there long enough in gear will it grab more and more?
