toronto,
well im picking up a 98 eclipse gs-t, the motor was just rebuilt 10,000km ago with 8:5:1 compression. The car is basically stock other then a turbo smart bov motor wise. I got a bit of money kicking around still and plan on doing the following to it. I need your advice!

megan racing 3" catback
megan racing 3" test pipe
megan racing 3" downpipe
megan racing egt meter
megan racing boost guage
i already picked up a magnus street/strip manifold
tubo xs manual boost controller
greddy fmic with piping
and now turbo wise im not sure, is the big 16g worth it?
walboro 255lph pump
some type of injectors not sure on what size?
snow performance meth injection

thats pretty much the mods list i plan on doing for now with a good tune at magnus here in my area. what do you think? suggestions? any number estimates of power i could make?

the first one i would do is get link. i am kicking myself that wasn't the fisrt thing i did, and do all the fuel upgrades rigth after that.

First, welcome to the world of DSMs.

always a good idea to double check the standard maintenance items first. even though it was just rebuilt i don't trust anyone so i'd double check the belts, pulleys, oil change, plugs, etc. Once you've verified all that is good to go then on to the modding!

List looks good fpr a starting point. Lots of info on all the parts listed can be found if you read a few threads on here.

First you'll want a true boost gauge; the stock piece of shit is worthless. EGT is nice to have, personally i'd go for a Wideband o2 instead, or if you're set on getting an EGT plan for a wideband in the future. Lots of threads on personal favs, i personally use the AEM Uego and have no complaints.

A logger of some sort would be a great investment as well.

The MR exhaust, test pipe, and DP all have good reviews on here. I can't wait to throw on my 3" MR exhaust in a couple weeks after we hit the Dyno.

If/when you upgrade the turbo you might want to look into a tubular o2 housing, or at least some porting on the stocker. Our cars like to creep with a full exhaust and a 16g turbo, especially the Evo III 16g.

Not personally a fan of the Greddy FMIC, imo there are better deals out there to be had. Look into the ETS kits, great price plus short route piping. Really comes down to personal preference above all else though.

With a 16g you can get away with a 190 wally rewired, if you plan on going bigger in the future though you might want to invest in the 255 plus a FPR now instead of having to upgrade again down the line.

You mention injectors and what size you need... whatever size you go with you'll also need a way to control those bad boys. DSMLink is a great tuning tool, others are more than happy with SAFCs. Lots of threads on here on how to size injectors for your particular set up. I'd recommend DSMLink personally. Thought it is pricey, it is an incredible tool for tuning and logging.

i think that pretty much covers it, someone will chime in with anything i forgot. :thumb:

Definetly get link - you can tune with some massive injectors, I believe 1600cc is the max. With the 16G and a GS-T you might run into wheel spin because of the aggrassive spool of the turbo. I hit full boost right around 3300rpm with AWD and it really kicks. Everything else you have listed will be sound investments. I would generally go with the wally 255 and some big injectors because they will give you a lot of room to grow. You will need a AFPR, however, as the 255 exceeds the limits of the stock FPR. Good luck and welcome to legal crack aka DSM.

I know extremepsi.com has a lot of good parts and good people that work there. I beleive they have a 3" apexi turbo back setup on sale for 2g's. Check out there site they have great package deals. I have bought stuff from them for years.

GOOD LUCK!!! AND WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF DSM'S LEN:thumb:

definatley look into a tuning device, link is pricy but its worth it in the long run. if you have that get like 1000cc injectors so if you decide to go BIGGER later on you wont buy things twice. also with the FMIC, greddys are ridiculously overpriced you can find a much better deal for the same thing as mentioned before.

Corey,
I'll be happy to help with not only the intercooler if you have any questions about our kits but offer advice on the rest of your build if you'd like. Feel free to get a hold of me to discuss!
