hey everyone,

So my 7bolt took a crap on me a few weeks ago and i finally saw the light and decided do a 6bolt swap. Well im asking what can be put on the 6bolt that i had the 7bolt? like all my accessories and the little things like sensors and my altenator (since its practically brand new), power steering pump and all that stuff. Also will a timing belt from a 7bolt fit a 6bolt? i bought the timing belt for my 7bolt and its brand new so i want to use that. Im sticking with the 6bolt head and block also. I tried to do a search but i didnt get an answer to this question really. Any suggestions would be great. Thanx!

You can use a 2g intake mani on there, it will simplify the process.

If you use a 1g intake mani for the runner size, you will need a 1g tb, and then you need to figure out the emissions lines. (I'm still stuck on that part.)

The directions said to use a ribbed 1g p/s pump pulley, I don't know why. I used my 2g p/s everything.

Using a 2g intake mani with a 1g head is bad because it is a huge port mismatch. The 1g head has huge ports and the 2g intake mani has tiny ports. If you use a 1g intake/TB the emissions lines are no different, aside from the MAP.

And I just used 2g PS for everything too.

are you drunk? you can use what ever tb you please (dsm of course) 2g mani on a 1g is bad news, the tb you will need to bend the vaccuun nipples a bit. if you want one already bent I have on pm me....... not like oyu can do it on your own (easy like a stripper....)
