Cluster throws lights

I just bought a 93 AWD talon, and its always had a rough idle when cold, at around 800-1000rpms, but when its running temp it idles perfectly around 1500rpms. Now that ive been driving it for a few weeks, idle is slowing getting worse and worse. Recently i replaced PS belt and FORGOT to disconnect battery and when i was loosening alt i shorted it out on something on alternator. didnt blow any fuse that im aware of; but now when driving the cluster RANDOMLY throws a low coolant light, battery light, and ebrake light all at once and it blinks on and off randomly. idle is goofy at all times now. it will shut off any electrical accesories (ie rear defroster) but not lights. is this early stages of my alternator going out? maybe a bad diode?

Alt is not putting out. Measure voltage at battery with engine running and you'll see.
