blew my motor up tonight,, blew 2 rods and a piston and the balanceshaft 50 feet from my car...

anyways,, i need to buy a replacement for my 95 gsx auto,, any suggestions on what to get?

How is the head? What condition is that in? If its in not so good condition. it might be easier to buy a whole replacement, unfortunately.

I recently blew my engine just as you said. Cylinder 3 exploded like a hand grenade and cylinder 4 rod just sheered off. My advice would be to get a 6bolt engine. There is a vast amount of information on the swap and in my opining the 6bolt engine is better. Try searching on car-parts.com

we haven't pulled her yet,, these are the pices i picked up.
I really don't wanna have to change the tranny, for a 6 bolt. i have alot of expensive bolt on's that i am unsure would work on that motor anyways,,

but by looking at the damage that occured in the block i assume at the moment the head is ruined to. so i am looking for a stock replacement i guess.
what happened is my boost spiked over 40 psi,, duno why.
i guess one of those japan 60,000 mile engines for 1200-1600$ is my best bet eh? this is my dd, i can't afford alot of down time..

At least you found pieces of your piston.. I could only find pieces of the block and small pieces of the piston left in the old pan. In my case the wastegate actuator signal hose fell off causing the turbo to overboost. Why would you need to change your trans for a 6bolt swap? Check out magnusmotorsports.com for the 6bolt swap writeup. Its not a difficult swap!

You don't have to change your tranny when doing a 6 bolt swap. If not included all you need is a 6 bolt flywheel/clutch setup which you can find used for pretty cheap.
