ok guys I got a low mileage 99 short block. I can take this time to do a 2.3 build as i already have the crank and do oversize valves with a set of 280's and have 9:1 pistons or I can put it back to a stock engine. I have a hks vpc gcc system and 550's right now for fuel along with a snow perf meth kit. advice from anyone knowledgable? thanks

I tell this to everyone that does a stroker kit..THINK ABOUT YOUR TRANS AND DRIVE TRAIN! The only thing good that comes from the stroker kit is more torque, and you DON'T want to rev the engine more than 7500 rpm. A lot of people think that stroking the engine will make them huge power but if you dont strengthen the trans and everything else you gona blow things up. Anyways its up to how much you are willing to spend.

fast street car with 22-24psi on a big kahuna or gt35r with my meth and a small shot only wanna get on the car when I need it not to be a track car.. just a street thumper.
