Just bringing this topic over to the "newbie forum" since i couldn't reply in this thread [for reference].

From the majority of users here, they sound like a trustworthy company that stands behind their products. Hence, I placed an order for their "budget manifold" to compliment the A'pexi turboback I'm doing soon [waiting for delivery]. My question is what can I expect performance-wise and duration-wise from this? I'm currently on stock boost, but will eventually go to 14psi. Also, I'm sure the answer is obvious but I just wanted to ask anyway to be safe... should I be replacing both gaskets for the install? How about the bolts?

Thanks in advanced for any answers!

I got a cheap tubular mani and im stock too, I didnt notice a difference the cast stock piece is fine for quite a bit of power, im going with the fp mani next. The tubular mani will get really hot under your hood and you need short bolts for the new mani. Might as well replace the gaskets since it will be apart, and dont break off the bolts to the head I did and I regret not takin my time so now I have a huge exhaust leak.

Since you are only hanging a stock turbo off of it I would say it should last quite a while, I have seen an Ebay $149 header with a bolt on t3/t4 survive 2years of daily driving, it eventually cracked but hey it was only $150.

With your set up you really aren't going to notice a difference. The budget manifold is one of the ebay ones that they add bracing to to make it stronger. I would have spent my money elsewhere if I was where you are with your set up.

Thanks for replies. Yes, I'm aware the money could've been spent on a more suitable and beneficial mod. I guess you could say that I'm trying to layout some "groundwork" for my future goal [planning on a moderate T28 upgrade w/ an engine rebuild] while being able to make present use of it. Time to order those gaskets, be precautious w/ the bolts, and be confident that it can survive daily driving w/ occasional spirited driving :)
