Hey,

So I have been searching through old posts and I know that in theory this does work. A rear diff from a manual 2g will "work" with my 91, if I use the 1g axles. But the question I can't find an answer to is does it bolt up? All I have found is answers that say "The differentials are the exact same so you can use it, but I don't think (or I don't know) if it will bolt up". I would like a solid answer to this question.

Thanks in advance,

Garret.

The way the axles connect to the diff is different from a 1g to a 2g. Also, like you mentioned, the points of contact of the sub frame are in different locations.

I wouldnt do it.
