turbo price/useage

Whats the going price for a Garrett 72mm .96 A/R Turbine T6 Frame thats been rebuilt? Can you even use one of these on a dsm? I searched for t6 etc but couldnt get anything. Theres also a Airesearch 85mm 1.39 A/R Turbine turbo for sale, these are on a muscle car forum I visit.

Not sure about the price. Yes it could be used on a dsm but you will need a custom exhaust manifold an 02 housing made as I have never seen either for a t6. So I wouldn't bother. You can find another turbo that will fit on a manifold already being made and it will be able to keep up with that turbo.

Man that is a massive turbo. What type of fitment issues would there be?

It's probably going to negate the use of a driver's side fan, also you'd have to wait quite a while to spool the 1.39 a/r. The other one is do-able, but might be better off on a drag car more than a daily. You'd have some serious lag still, maybe if you really want something that big you can get that new BC 2.6 stroker kit for the 7 bolt. That should aid in spool time and you can still take it to 9500+.
