Timing

Hey, I was wondering if these marks should be lined up? Also, I feel like I am not getting any power out of my car. I have a boost leak, and tried to perform a boost leak test many times, but couldn't pressurize my car. I am posting this today because I had a really loud noise coming from the head ( I have lifter tick, so i know this isn't the sound), but it made the noise when I got to the parking lot of school, and when i got home. It starts making the noise when the car gets warm and keeps making the knock noise until it is turned off. But, it stopped all of a sudden and hasn't been making the noise since (I drove it two times with it not making the noise), so I don't know what the hell is going on. I just wanted to know if these marks should be lined up. P.S. i do have rod knock, but that is not where the noise is coming from, and i know that it isn't the same problem because I can still here the rod knock when i rev, and at the same time i still hear the other noise.

Sadly, those marks should be lined up! its real possible that noise you heard was from the valves or valve hitting the piston. it looks like you either jumped timing or didn't set the cams correctly. That would also cause a big difference in power. You might be looking at getting new valves. But set the timing marks correctly and see how the engine runs. My guess would be that you probably have a slightly bent valve.

Yes those marks on the cam gear should line up. You need a timing job!

It looks good to me. The cam gears rotate clockwise so if you turn them another tooth the marks will line up.
