So i bought my car with shaved door handles, and only had one remote come with the car, but anyways that's besides the point really. I've owned the car for over a year now and had no problems with the doors, well today I drove off with my remote on my roof and can't find it, so I guess my question is where can I get a remote calibrated for it, and what's the approximate cost of it? Any sort of help is great appreciated!

I'm just curious now...but how do you use your car then if you can't open the doors?

Outside of that, agree with the posts above. The manufacturers of that kit should be able to provide you with a new key or at least can recommend who you can take your car to get a new remote programed, ETC.

He probably crawls through the trunk to use the car, ouch! Anyway, the manufacturer will be able to specifiy what you can go about to do to get a new key, same thing happened to a friend, I'll leave his name anonymous so he doesn't complain :p

Sounds to me like he bought it this way & may not have a clue as to who manufactured it.

If that's the case, you need to call a local shop that does that sort of work and ask them to ID the unit for you. They may well have what you need to replace the lost remote and fix you up with new codes so that the old remote won't work with the car anymore as well. The installer should have also installed a fail-safe somewhere that allows entry to the vehicle if the remote is lost or has bad batteries; I would expect that to have been explained by the PO so that you could make use of it. If you still have a key lock on the car, there's a good chance that the auxilliary switch was positioned inside the door so that the door pops when you unlock the door with the key (the linkage can activate it). I would expect the car to have retained at least one key lock cylinder (hatch?), so unlocking it and looking for a switch or button somewhere nearby would make sense if the system isn't set up as I mentioned above.
