2g non turbo suspension on a 2g turbo spyder

i was just wondering if the suspension is the same and what would be the worst thing to happen if i used 2g lowering springs and struts on my 2g spyder? I'm asking because a guy i work with says he doesn't want his lowering setup anymore and i can have it if he can have my stock suspension.

The spyder will sit lower than the n/t though because of the extra weight. So try not to use a spring that drop the car extremely low because it will be even lower on the spyder.
