So I am going to go ahead and sell my eibach pro-kits and tokicko illuminas, which I have not even installed yet. I decided since I have already put so much money in already, why go halfway?

Ive decided to either get the megan racing coilovers or the d2's. Can someone give me some technical information on which ones would be better. I dont really care to hear opinons.

Well if you are going to spend the money you might as well go with the D2's. I think they are better because they are rebuildable. That way when ever they start to fade, you wont have to buy a new shock. I beleve other than that they are very similar. But either choice is a good one.:thumb:

They do seem pretty similar. How different are the really? Which one would be more user friendly for ride height and dampening?

not sure where the thread was but from what i remember d2,megan, and ksport are all the same. these coilovers are actually made like in japan or something and when sold each company just changes the color. there was a thread that even had a link to the original mfgr. i have the ksports buy whichever is cheaper and the ks are rebuildable as well.

HMMM, well if they are all the same, why can't they all be rebuildable??? I think D2 is made in England. And if i remember correctly, the Megans were made to the specs that customers would like to see on the 1g and 2g. The worked closely with dsm owners to make their kit. IF, i remember correctly. I would go with D2's. :thumb:

I dont think im going to go with ksports, becasue almost every thread I have read on other forums and this one ends in, there great and I love them, but on of my shocks blew out.

The d2's look like they have custom spring rates, and I found them for as cheap as 882, not including shipping. What would be a good combination of spring rates. Megan racings is 13k/f 6k/r. That seems like a wierd combo. I was thinking more like 11 and 7? What do you guys think.

I found the megan coilovers for 875 shipped on extremepsi.com(my favorite vendor). Thats even cheaper then ebay has them. But what about there spring rates?
