Ok well the roads are really icey today after we just got overnight snow.. i was turning off my street which hasnt been plowed yet and i slid all the way across the street into a curb( the right side of my car). I didnt go over the curb, and my car still drives. But as soon as i let go of the steering wheel it spins to the right really fast.I havent got to look at anything yet being i cant see anything ### of all the snow

How easy is this to fix? Alignment? Something snapped?

Well, you definitely knocked the alignment "out-of-whack" and it will need to be re-done. As far as damage goes...the upper control arms are the easiest to bend and should be looked at. Depending on how fast/hard the impact was, will depend on what else might be damaged.

I was pushed into a curb entrance (passenger side) pretty much "head-on" going 45-50MPH and I ended up replacing just about everything but the knuckle...upper/lower control arms, lateral arm, outer tie rod end, sway bar end link, wheel bearing assembly and bushings in my camber kits.

I have also noticed that the inner tie rod is messed up, so I need to fix that as well.

You would be surprised how fragile the suspension can be if impacted the wrong way.

Sorry bout the car. One thing you could try is to see if your local Sears auto shop has the FREE steering and suspension evaluation. and that way if anything is bent or out of whack you will know. They don't tell you that you would need an alignment though. I know I do and they didn't tell me. Thats one option i would say you have.

thanks for the idea, ill give that a shot.

I gotta actually put force into keeping the steering wheel to the left and straight.. its messed up bad

Yea you could have nothing wrong but an alignment. And if I remember correctly...they do 4-wheeled alignments for like 70 bucks?? minus the camber kit if you need one. If so then the price could easily double. good luck and let us know how things go.
