I recently built my new engine with several mods. Now I am planning to replace my OEM suspension (yes my OEM springs and shocks still there). I already bought my KYB shocks/strust but I am having troubles to find some springs. I really don't want to drop my car but until now I haven't found some OEM-type Spring. I only found the eibach prokit, eibach sportline and some ebay springs named Arospeed. I already spent a lot of money on my built engine and dsmlink, injectors, etc so right now I am in a budget. Does some one know something about those Arospeed springs??

My spring really need to be replaced before going to the track. They are very weak and the car feels like a "big boat" when driving (even with my new shocks/struts).

Any suggestions??? comments??? any help and advices will be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance

If your on a budget, I would recomend MEGAN RACING lowering springs over the ebay brand. I just ordered my springs last week through extremepsi.com and its on it way here. Its only $106.50 SHIPPED.

Ill post back when I get them and installed in my car to see how they feel. If I like them, Ill buy another set for my 1g.

ill let you know.

If you get the megan racing springs you will need to get a igalls camber kit. I have them i am just waiting to put them on.

My idea is to get some direct replacement springs. So I didn't have to buy anything else. I guess those eibach are direct replacement or will i need to get a igalls camber kit also??Any more options??? anyone know something about those Arospeed spring?? or any other spring to buy??

let me know

H&R has a great set of (lowering) springs, which u will run u in the neighborhood of $230-240ish. I've had great luck with H&R stuff on my Audis in the past years.

But since we're not talking bout Audis, have u looked at Tein's S-Tech lowering springs? They're significantly cheaper than H&R or Eibach, at about $150 from ExtremePSI.com.

Just my .02 cents.

The Eibach's will lower the car nicely about an inch. I know the Eibach/AGX combination is popular amongst DSMers but I didn't like them. Too much bouncing in my opinion. I had them on a '93 AWD.

YMMV
