I have the JDM Galant "Cyclone" engine and had it installed in my 2G a while back but the Cyclone was not hooked up properly. I took the engine apart recently and I am looking to get the Cyclone properly and NO you can't talk me out of it :D I have the solenoid and am getting the RPM switch soon but I am having trouble finding the vacuum canister. I have one in my car and was wondering if it's the one I need? The lines are Teed off to run to the Fuel Pressure Regulator on one side and to one of the solenoids (I'm not sure what it's for) I took a look at the Vacuum Diagram and it doesn't show the Canister. Did the installer just reroute the lines to use the Canister or is that suppost to be there? Am I one of the LUCKY one's that got the Canister?
Here are a couple of pictures :

That is the right canister. There are a couple of articles in the Tech forum that show you how to hook it up.

You are definately one of the lucky ones that got the canister. I believe some of the lines coming off of it are for emissions though. I ran a vaccuum canister off of a Dodge Dakota ($12) for my Cyclone set-up and it only had 2 nipples, so it was quite simple to hook up. If you aren't running emissions, I'd block off the excess lines and just run what you need.

Good to see another person trying to run the Cyclone the correct way. I had excellent gains when I was running mine.
