I believe Defiant once answered this question and said that unless you are going to be putting massive amounts of money and power down, it's not worth the money vs power output. The money spent on that would be better spent somewhere else for the HP gains.

Oh, and don't bump your threads, you'll get yelled at.

I read that thread and it was about knife edging a crankshaft. I am starting out with a bare block I dont have a crankshaft to put in it. I am asking if this is a good crankshaft to use?

PM dsm-monster. He was looking into this a while back and could probably give you a good answer.

I was trying to get one of the Topline cranks through Slowboyracing.com but, they've been on backorder for 2 months so far with no e.t.a. I think I'm going to end up using the Eagle forged because on from Mitsu is more expensive.

I have one in an engine that has probably 20000 miles on it. And another in an engine downstairs that I am assembling for a local. Both were straight and balanced well, machined in spec. I wouldn't use the bearings that come with it personally tho. We'll see how it holds power with engine downstairs this year.
