This problem is on my brother 90 eclipse gsx. I have read and done most of the travel shooting here.

The motor was just rebuilt and just got it all in the car. The car is getting spark, checked timing, changed coil pack, tried 9 different turbo ecu, put in 91 octane gas, checked CAS, getting fuel, etc etc etc...
The car had been sitting in the back yard for a while, like 6 or so months. The timing belt snapped, raped all the valves, cracked 2 pistons.
The car has a new used cyl. head, piston, piston rings, timing belt, BS removed, 16g turbo, and new stock clutch. The only thing we havnt tried yet is putting some of that starting fluid inside each cylinder.(might do that later on today) Everytime we crank it, it just spins and spins... and once every couple of cranks, it kinda back fires a little bit. There is a rapid ticking/clicking sound coming from around the intake mani.
I will post back with more info with the starting fluid later on today.
Any inputs on what to check and do? please help fast
