Hey guys, I have done my searching, and I have not found any information that has helped me figure out how to get a good "base" tune for my MAFT. I know it will have to be adjusted because not every car is the same, but could someone give me just a ball park of what i could set the dials to? Idle, mid, and WOT. the car has turbo back 3 inch, walbro, and 16psi

I used my wideband to set my idle than adjusted the mid and wot by logging some runs and adjusting the dials. I used my dsmlink to log my wideband reading.

"what wires can I hook up for the MAFT to read the signal."

I'm not sure what you mean, its all about setting the dials to a good range then fine tuning with dsmlink or safc.

I wouldn't tune off of a wideband alone. MAFT alters the factory maps to allow larger injectors to function; i.e. it tells the computer that there is less airflow coming in, so less airflow = less fuel injected. Because the computer sees less airflow, it puts you on a higher timing map. I had this problem running anything larger than 650s, I would get crazy high timing even when there was knock.

Spend the $100 and pick up a logger to monitor timing as well.

But yes, once you get your base settings for your injector choice, leave the other dials at 0 and start tuning from there.
