Can I install the stock fan on this radiator?
my idea is to install the stock one (on the side that it fits), and the side where my IC pipes go install the fans that comes with it.
Is it a good thing to do, or it doesn'e really metter?
because I want to leave the stock fan for the purpuse of turning on automatic, and the other one I would just turn it on whe need it.
Or can I use the new slim fans and plug it in on the stock sensor things?

So the core alone was $150 shipped from Punishment's Ebay auctions or from Ebay? Link?

sorry for the confusion, i meant to edit and redo that sentence. ashamed at myself for the horrible sentence structure. I meant to say I got the core alone on EBAY, which seems to be like the same one Punishment RAcing is selling with their kits.
Anyways, I got it from this seller..
eBay Seller: etdmotors: eclipse radiator, eBay Motors items on eBay.com
and microsoft has a promotion with their Live search feature, where they were giving out 35% cashback from ebay purchases. Made the deal even sweeter. I dont know if its still going on though, i know it went down to 25%, but who knows what it is now and if its still active.

Mishimoto+1,
As for aluminium radiators. All the mishimoto, pudenishment racing, etdmotors, ther all the same! Each company buys them in bulk gets there spray paint and logan out and puts it on there, then throws it in htere own box. I believe etdmotors is the base radiators, they sell them to mishimoto and PR, and probably others. IF ETD would of been out when i bought mine i would of got it, just wasnt on ebay yet oh well. I paid 235 for the 2g radiator with one big slim fan. NEver had any problems with it and i think anyone that spends 500 bucks on a radiator and another 200 on each spal fan is a idiot(although spal fans are more powerful, i d on't think they make up for the price). I am very happy with my purchase keeps car very cool, but beaware that bitch gets hot on top so don't pop your hood and to look in and put your elbows on it! lol

I've had this kit installed for a few months now with no problems at all. My coolent temps went from 213-216 degrees to 193-196 degrees. I was using a 70/30 mix, water wetter, 180 t-stat, and 1.3 bar radiator cap, before and after. Install was easy, and comes with everything you need to mount the fans. The Laser will also be getting one of these soon.

Damn 216? that seems awful high! my car ran like 200 at the max before now runs around 180 on average. Yeah i thought the instal was easy to, although with mind i just hard wired the one slim fan on a relay so it's on high as soon as the key is on. That way while i'm sitting i can cool the car if i want, plus the guy before me totally hacked the wiring job for the fans.

216 was the highest I ever saw it get up to; I think the temp at that time was around 88 and humid, and i let the car run in the driveway for approxmatly 20 minutes just to see how high it would get. Went up to 216 and stayed there.

Seems like a nice piece for the money.
I'm having some heating issues also. I'm going to flush the system and see how the car runs. If this does not work I will be replacing the the radiator.

PR probably found a good quality budget line of aluminum radiators and got the hook up.

I'm glad everyone is pretty happy with their radiators because I just ordered the setup tonight. My car hops up above the halfway mark on the temp gauge when I drive at 70 so I figured it was a flow problem, I replaced the thermostat and the water pump so I'm hoping the radiator will help with this and I won't have any more problems. I will let you guys know if I have any problems. Thanks guys.

I just got mine PR radiator installed
But I wasn't able to install the driver side fan.
It was hiting on my IC pipes... so I had to take it off and install with just one fan.
Now where can I buy those zip ties that comes with the radiator.. I need 4 more to try to install the fan again.
