ok so i did a boost leak test and what i found ( other than many leaks) is the pcv valve will hold about 15 pounds( thats what im running right now) for a few seconds then its as if you hit a switch,, all the air is released from the system though the pcv valve this is a new pcv and i did the test the same day i put it in. is the pcv bad or is this something weird LOL

side note took my throttle body out to change the seals and now car says low coolant but i got plenty in the little tank. i know a little came out wit the tb but not a huge amount. any ideas???

Autozone/carquest/etc. PCV valves won't work. Call a Mitsu dealership and ask if they have them in stock. If they don't, have them order one.

Are you sure your BOV didn't somehow "quick release" on you and dump your BLT air to the intake pipe? I don't see why the PCV would do that. Try again with the bov line disconnected from the BOV and plugged.

This is some good advice as usually a PCV valve will leak from the get go.

Just so you don't have to read through the entire Stupid PCV Valve thread, skip towards the end and look for the USPlastics Check Valve part # that you should order. Once you get the check valve, insert it between your IM and your PCV valve. You'll be set.

maybe it was the bov LOL would it just dump boost like that i mean it shouldn't i have the spring set pretty hard to. oh the bov does leak a little outa the adjustment screw. hmmm maybe it leaks enough for the boost to blow though the valve. any ideas? oh side note i filled all the fluids in my car and the coolant light is still on. any ideas on that ( yes the coolant sensor is plunged in)

is this the part you guys are talking about
