Here is what I did and here's the result. Can someone tell me where I screwed up.
I checked my timing with a timing light yesterday and found that the mark was where the "T" was. So I moved it left to the next mark, which I thought would be the 5* mark.
I clamp the timing light to the plug wire closest to the timing cover.
my timing was cylcling all over in Dsmlink so I grounded it. NOw it stay at 5.2
HERE'S THE PROBLEM... now I am getting a code 1300 Ignition timing adjustment circuit malfunction.
What do I check for now and how do I fix this. I can't continue tuning until I fix this and It is driving me nuts.
