quick 6bolt/4bolt q for 1g's

well its been about two years since i got out of dsm's after wrecking my eclipse and i'm a bit rusty on my info so have a quick q. i searched but couldn't find anything pertaining to what i wanted to know. my friend's girlfriend went to look at a 93 talon tsi awd. now from what i recall about my days on here 89-91 had the 6/3, 92-4 had a 6/4 and the 95-99 had a 7/4. i ma 90% sure on this, however the current owner insisted that the 1gb had a 7 bolt head so i wanted to check and make sure. thanks for the help.

You can make a 2g head work on a 1g. Not factory stock however.

the first half of 92 had a 6 bolt motor with a 4 bolt rear end the second half of 92-94 have a 7 bolt motor with a 4 bolt rear end

Technically, it is a 7 bolt head on the 1g 7 bolt, but only because of the smaller head studs and smaller holes for them. But all 1g 2.0 heads are basically the same.
