tuning question

Can I tun my dsm with just a data logger or do I also need a wideband?

You can't tune your car with either of those, as they are monitoring devices.

Besides the necessary logger (and recommended WBO2), you'll need a "piggyback" device like an SAFC, MAF-T, or similar...depending on your setup. Or you can go with DSMLink for full control.

Just saw that you have an SAFC, so you can do some tuning with that... although it's a bit limited.

yeah you need to use your safc to tune..or get something better like dsmlink

If you are tuning with just an SAFC, then I'd highly recommend using both of those devices.

You can tune it to a certain extent with just the datalogger. Without a wideband, a EVO3 16G and a maf translator I tune the car to run a 12.0 @ 114 and thats a FWD. You will get a better tune if you had a wideband though. Just make sure you have no knock.
