What is this pully?

I just changed my timing belt and I'm reassembling everything, but theres one pulley that I don't remember where it went. I checked VFAQ and the cd manual and cant figure it out. I would give you a picture but I don't have a camera. I'll describe it as best as I can. the pulley is attached to a bracket that has a threaded bolt running down the center. The pulley can adjust up and down the track by loosening its bolt and turning the bolt. What is this friggin thing and where the hell does it go?

It's the Idler/tensioner for the A/C belt. It goes near the rear of the block and pushes down on the top of the belt.

so since I'm taking the AC out I dont need it right?

You will no longer need it if you are taking AC out.
