Laval,
I know that VCE or welding diff do the same thing. But, my question is if I put a VCE or a welding viscous coupler, just for the drag with a stock centerdiff, it's a good idea?? Do I grow the chance to broke the centerdiff easly?

Last summer I broke my centerdiff, with over 120 drag pass. This next summer I plan to drag only 20-25 pass,.

I dont want to spend money on a 4 spider gear or a tre spool.

thx

I'm not sure this is a very predictable answer. Ultimately the stock diff will break, when? Who knows.

On a side note, I have a TRE spool and it is awesome! :) haha, sorry.

It really depends on how powerful your car is to make the best choice of either 4 spider vs. welded center diff.

If your car has a lot of power, welded center diff is not the best idea. You won't get as much traction off the line and it will eventual break and will also put tremendous amount of stress on axles and drivetrain.

Even though 4 spider cost $$$ it's better it all depends on you personally to decide if it is worth it.

Why not just weld the center differential? TRE charges $50 for the service, so it's even cheaper than a VCE.

I dont want to drive a weld centerdiff, on my daily driven car, and strees all the drivtrain, and tires on cornering....

The option of the 4 spider gear seams to be the best option for me, but like I said, I will not go to the track often anymore. That why I don't want to waste money on that.!!
