I have recently installed a fmic , piping , and have a greddy bov flange that can be welded anywhere . Where is a good place for it to be mounted to get the best performance out of it?

Im not trying to make the bov loud as possilbe, thats doesnt matter . I just want it to work its peak.

I have seen people mount them down next to the intercooler, i dont know if this works good or if its just to look cool.

Are you planning on recirculating it? If you are then it should be mounted as close to the intake pipe as possible. If you're venting then I'm guessing the point to choose is the middle between the IC and TB. Take a look at some FMIC kits. Most of them mount the BOV in the middle practically.
