A/T temp light stays on

Ok I'm going to cut the greetings and introductions short because frankly I just want to get this figured out. So hello everyone, this is my first post and first problem that I haven't been able to find by myself. Thanks for having me in the community.

Now on to the issue/question. Problem is, ever since I went into a ditch (not that bad, no real damage), my A/T temp light will stay on without the key in and my blower fans for heat/air are controllable without the key in. Witch kills my battery so I have to carry a jump box around everywhere...not cool.

So I was wondering, has anybody had this problem or can anybody think of a solution maybe? Or even a wiring diagram that has the A/T temp light in it, I've looked at the shop manual cd pdf and have a haynes book but don't see anything about the A/T temp light.

Check if A/T temp sensor is shorted or disconnected.

For blower, check if heater relay is stuck on.

Correction, the AT temp light only stays on when the car is off. Once I turn the car on the light goes off. I dont know if that changes your answer, I'll still check those things you mentioned out.
