my clutch is spinning anything over 4000 RPM's

my shifts are realy rough, and i cant shift smoothly jsut cruising.

could that just be an ajustment or is my clutch gone.

i have 278HP on a stock clutch, only 2400 miles on the clutch, i do pulls every once in a while but for the most part im preaty nice to my clutch.

it feels like it engages when it should about 2-3 inches from the floor.

first gear is weird sometimes, it wont go in unless im totally on the floor.

ANY help would be nice.

I have similar but less severe problems. You may just need to flush the transmission fluid and put some high end stuff in it. i'm putting an ACT 2600 in soon so after a tranny fluid flush it should be fine. I actually noticed a big difference when i replaced my shifter cable bushings with skateboard bearings. Super easy and cheap mod for some very noticeable results. If your clutch is slipping above 4k however, you may want to look into getting a new, stronger clutch.
