I did search and haven't this problem mentioned too much. I just finished up my 6 bolt swap and I transferred over my 2G bracket, power steering pump, etc. and I went to put my belt on and it's too long. I thought nothing of it so I loosened the two bolts through the pulley along with the two bolts on the exhaust manifold side and pulled the pump back. Come to find, the power steering pump is at the max for tension (it's at the end of the bracket).

I briefly read about someone shimming the power steering pump to get little bit of tension taken care of, but I was wondering if anyone else with a 6 bolt in a 2g had this similar problem? Also wondering if I could just switch the belt I bought with a shorter belt? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Belt I Bought: DAYCO #5040275

If your belt is too long and your power steering pump is at it's maximum then go to you local auto zone and get a smaller belt and you should be golden:dsm:
I was considering doing that but would you know/recommend a part/vendor number for me? That way they don't look at me like I am nuts when I tell them it's for a 95 Eclipse GSX and they hand me the same thing.
