That's sexy, would be crazy to have a n/t with an evo engine and drivetrain. Unfortunately I don't have that kind fo money LOL. I'll stick with my little GS-T :p

I'd rather have an EVO also, but I really like that this person took the initiative and MADE IT HAPPEN!

I never had a clue this could be done, every other time anyone asks it's always the "They are opposite, it cannot work" answer, as far as the engine being reversed and saying it won't work.

2G's have a nice body style too...that is a classic and you can't find elsewhere. Sexy little cars, I am sure the chicks love them.

Also now he can take on anything in that little beast!

Hehe I would leve the stock badging on just to mess with people!

Totally cool! :thumb::rocks:

I'd rather have an EVO also....

WHY? I've driven Evo's and it makes me love my DSM's even more!

I realize they're not intended to be daily-driven, but be realistic....who actually buys a new Evo for race purpose only with no intent of driving it on the street?

- They're a Sedan. Sedans are NOT sports cars.
- I hate the seats. They're not comfortable at all for a daily driver.
- I've only driven Evo VIII's and both of them shifted HORRIBLY. I understand this was addressed in the later cars, but still....you spend $30k+ on a car, it should at least go into gear when you want it to.
- The ride quality on the street is terrible. They bounce more going down a freeway than a Civic with eBay coilovers. Again, I know the Evo's suspension is very aggressive for racing purposes; but on the street, it sucks.

One of their strong points is their braking system. Very aggressive with a positive feel at the pedal at all times.

I also like the fact that they come from the factory with a 16G turbo running 18psi. That's a very happy setting for about any street-driven DSM.

Regardless, I'm glad that I got to drive one before I up and decided to buy one. It really opened my eyes and made me realize that if I put the $30k into one of my current cars that I'd put into an Evo, I'd have a REALLY fast DSM!
