Hello,
I just purchased a 95 GSX yesterday from the original owner. The car has 156k miles on it.For the past 5 years he has just used it for his winter car.So far there are no real problems with the car other then needing a rear wheel bearing and oil light comes on because of the sensor.Im just wondering what exactly i should do for a tune-up/maintance on the vehicle.I would like to change all the fluids(Auto tranny) and filters.Im just not sure what exactly to buy or what fluids to use. Also is there anything i should look out for?The t-belt is due at 170k or so,Other then that?Any help would be appreciated!

P.S I only payed 1200 bucks for the car.The original owner just wanted to get rid of it.So i think i did pretty decent.

congratz on the deal man! I just bought my 95 tsi awd too for only $1000.

As for the motor oil, I use mobile 1 fully syntetic oil.

Tranny fluid, get penzoil sycromesh.

change spark plugs and plug wires.

might as well change the timing belt too. (just to be safe)

nice i just got my 95 GSX for 3500 its got TBE and Tien Flex suspension

nice man...im thinking i may mod it after all the maintance is done. The car was so cheap and its only my winter car that i dont see why not doing it. I dont think i will spend alot...Im more of a DIY type person.I might make a Homemade Boost Controller...and some other free mods...
