2 12" fans

will 2 12 " fans fit on the stock radiator ? And which brand do you recomend ? Im looking for something the flows a lot better then stock.

I'm not sure that they do FLOW appreciably "better" than Stock - The primary benefit seems to be helping with size & depth considerations.

Yes, two 12" fans do fit on our OE radiator core. If you search, you'll find that I've posted pictures of this several times.

I prefer SPAL (pictured above). Price is reasonable and quality is excellent. My 44mm Tial and dump tube are less than .25" away from one of my cooling fans, and it has yet to show any heat damage.

Just to give you another option, I'll post my previous setup. I had FAL slimline fans installed on my stock radiator. Both the fans are in one unit and are 12" each. They required some modification (as well as a bit to the radiator), but work extremely well. They also seal off very nicely. Here are some pictures and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Yup, no reason why it shouldnt.

Yea one of those fans would work on the drivers side. As long as you've got clearance for the ac fan then that will be fine. You can also wire the fans to come on together whenever either of the fans come on.

Just one wasn't enough for me on my stock radiator when one of my fans stopped working last summer. I would overheat any time the a/c was on in stop and go traffic.

I've replaced the broken one with a 10" on the front side of the ac condensor. It JUST fits. I had to do this as I changed to a fluidyne radiator that is much thicker than stock, and with my turbo/manifold combination I just didn't have room on the back side for any fan whatsoever.

I'm finishing my build right now and used 2 12" SPAL pusher fans and wired them together and put them in front of the radiator (against front of rad and between the FMIC) to clean up the engine bay and give plenty of room. They are a really high quality fan.

Probably not. Our cars have a seperate fan for the A/C, than usually comes on during the use of the A/C to aid the other fan in cooling. In most cases, one fan is not capable of keeping up when using the A/C. If you're going to keep your A/C, then install two fans.
