I've been reading on the boards for about a month or so.

Havn't decided which engine management(dsmlink, or full stand alone) yet but here is what I'm planning on doing.

garrett GT3076R
Punishment race manifold
tial 44mm wastegate
950cc injectors
Fuel pressure reg. with -6 AN lines
BC 272 cams
ARP head studs
Cometic HG
Meth injection

Still deciding on which intake manifold I want

already have a walbro 255 and a b&m adjustable fuel pressure reg. act 2600

My biggest ?, I plan on tuning the car at 25-27lbs of boost. Most likley 25. I know forged internals are the preffered way to go, but how lwell do the stock bottom ends hold up? I've read everything from 400crank hp all the way up to almot 500 at the wheels. I'm shooting for 450whp. I don't want to build up the 2.0 yet, I'm working on finding the parts and money to build a stroker motor(and not the usual 2.3).

thanks in advance guys

DSMLINK is more than sufficient for your goals. I don't see needing a full stand alone until you surpass 1600cc injectors. With the meth injection I don't see a reason you couldn't meet your goals, make sure you have good compression on your stock block first ;)

Most tend to agree 400whp is about the recommended daily level for a 7 bolt. Yes more has been made but your starting to test your limits if this is your daily tune. With that setup & around 25psi on meth this level should defently be achievable. With a good SMIM you can probably achieve these numbers on abit less boost. Dsmlink, is more then enough for that kind of goal (believe there are a couple guys running in the 8's with it now). Sure a full standalone will have more features but most required a tonn more tuning to even get the car "driveable". Also DSMLink is still working on a new version that will blow the old one away as far as features go. Not that it will be out anytime soon, but the price to upgrade when the time comes will be more then resonable. As for the B&M fuel pressure adjuster, throw it out. Its useless with larger fuel pumps such as the 255. It will not prevent FPR overrun, which is the whole purpose of buying an aftermarket fpr.

won't be my daily driver once is comes apart for all of that. weekend driver, occavsion ride to work in it, not much else.

already checked the compression :D 175-176 across all four. The b&m was on it when I bought the car. havn't had any problems with over run yet, but with the exception of the gm blow through set up and the turbo back exhaust(including o2 housing) I'm bone stock.

Reason behind option other than link was for the stroker motor. I'm planning on a 2.5 stroker with a 37R down the road. only want to have to buy these things once:)

I've heard about a intake manifold that uses the stock runners just a MUCH larger plenum. any one else heard of these? supposed to keep the bottom end a little better and flow just as much as a full smim on the top end. Kinda curious as to where to get one, and find some more info about it first. otherwise, I'm going to go with a magnus smim

Also, you guys see anything I'm forgetting on the supporting mods list? Stock fuel lines are obviously big enough for high power numbers, but I was thinking about running a steel braided -6 AN line frmo the tank to the filter, then the filter to the fuel rail. any need to upgrade the fuel rail with the power goals I'm going for right now other than it looks better?
