There is a rectangular shaped dent on the last bend right before the muffler. Is it supposed to be there? It is like a perfect rectangular shape and kinda looks like it was stamped on there purposely, but I just wanted to be sure.. Thanks.

Have you looked under the car to see if maybe it's there to clear something; i don't believe it is, but it's a possibility. I would also contact Megan Racing about it.:talon:

I have yet to look under the car. I just wanted to check if someone has ordered the same exhaust for their FWD and had the same dent in it.

Heres the funny part.
They put it there on purpose :notgood:
Said its supposed to help clear the back end. Guess what?
It would clear with out that.
When I got mine I called the ebay company I bought it from and They were like OMG
It must have gotten shipping damage so they called Megan Racing to double check and I called
them and they put it on there themselves
I was pissed becuase that doesnt help exhaust flow even though its at the end :notgood:
Thats the only complaint I have about Megan Racing

Makes me want to buy another companies exhaust
Might go with Espelirs exhaust :thumb:

my stock exhaust on my N/t has that on it..

What the hell? Very weird. Do you have to have any pics of your exhaust before you put it in?

I could understand on a stock exhaust they suck :notgood:
But on an aftermarket companies exhaust where the whole reason is to get the
most exhaust flow possible WTF gives?

I think I do because I had to email pics to the ebay company to show them let me check and Ill post one up if I still have them.

Now my question is?
On other aftermarket companies 3" exhausts for
2g Fwd Eclipses do they have that crimp in them too?

I have never seen it or heard of it on any other exhaust... That I know of anyways.

Thats what Im saying then why did they do it
because they didnt need to there is plenty of space in that spot for it to fit WTF
Im looking for the pic still hold on

Here you go its kind of a sucky pic but at the bottom you can make out the crimp.
Its the only pic I had left of it on my computer

Yep I can see it there. Oh well I guess. I will put it on anyways. I wish you had more pics though, I would actually like to see your full exhaust becuase mine looks nothing like what I have seen in pictures and i was just curious to see what yours was like.

If you can post up pics of your whole Megan exhaust.
Im sure all the 2g Fwd eclipse turbo 3" Megan exhaust look the same.
They would have to ROFL

Yep mine is the exact same :thumb:
Its so far back I dont think it will matter
I just dont understand why Megan Racing did that when they didnt have to WTF
You will see that there is room for it to be a full 3" when you put it on.

Yeah I am not sure why they did it either. How hard was it to put on? Truthfuly I dont even know what pipe goes where, LOL... My megan downpipe is coming tomorrow.

No very straight forward.
Might need some PB Blaster though.
Middle pipe first then the one on the right then the piece with the muffler ROFL
Im refering to the pic you just posted so you know what Im talking about :thumb:
Also let me know when your done if it rattles at all during acceleration.
Mine kinda does but I havent had time to pinpoint it but it sounds like its coming from the exhaust.
Let me know :thumb: thanks

Or you could just use a sawzall and cut the exhaust to pieces ROFL
Thats what I did because there was so much rust.
Its faster and easier LOL

I think its because they got a little carried away with the Awd exhaust and downpipe
with the redos that had to do with them so they got a little careless when
it came to the Fwd exhaust ROFL
The Fwd downpipe is an amazing piece of work though :thumb: for that at least
When do we get a redo on our exhaust LOL
