I have a 1992 Eagle Talon TSI AWD and the right rear half shaft snapped off at the spline. Where would i find a replacement and is it hard to replace.
And is it bad if i drive it with out it fixed

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you broke the shaft inside the rear it's not hard 5to get out. remove the other side and drive it out with a long punch. I would be concerned that you broke the rear diff. you maybe replacing a broken axle again in the near future.

I would not drive on it. We have viscous differentials that wouldn't be good you would just ruin other things if you did.

opps didn't see that last part. driving with a broke axle can be done. however you must be prudent and not let the viscous coupler slip. I have personally driven 20+ mile with a broken rear axle to get home from the track.
