I made a post about this, but no1 gave me any answers yet, that could help. I have a 1997 mitsubishi eclipse gs-t spyder, stock turbo, cold air intake, and exhaust. Recently I have been stalling, while in neutral. Today I was in 4th gear and i saw a light coming up.. i put it into neutral and coasted for a sec and than it just stalled. This is about the 3rd time in 2 days. It doesnt stall in gear i dont think. I can sit in 1st with the clutch in and nothing. 2 days ago, i was turning into a park, waiting for the cars to pass to turn, i was in neutral rolling up at like 10mph, and it stalled.

My check engine light did come on 2 days and, which right after that happened the stalling thing happened. I went to advanced auto parts and got that test done and its a fuel trim malfunction(bank 1). Guy said i needed some 02 sensor, it was like 108 bucks.Wondering if this has something to do with it?

Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

Yea, my car does the same thing. I tried swithing isc's and a new known working mas sensor and that didnt do the trick. My car throws that code sometimes too and I noticed recently while tuning my car that my 02 sensor wasnt cycling or registering any volts on a pull, so I just ordered a new bosch 02 sensor to see if that will fix the idle issue as well. The o2 sensor is a known problem for idle surge and stalling problems, I just didnt want to drop 100 if i wasnt absolutely sure that was the problem but now looking at my logger and seeing the 02 sensor not cycling, i know its bad. So your 02 sensor if probably a likely cause for your stalling issue. Do you have a logger of some sort you can look at your 02 values? If so they should cycle at idle, meaning jump all around, not just display one # like mine did. At idle mine would just say 0.02 volts and not ever move.

thanks alot gst for that response.
I dont have a logger, im going to get one soon.

yeah this problem never happened before until my check engine light came on
