"white 1997 eclipse turbo, auto., loaded, leather, sunroof, lots of performance mods., t28 turbo, ported and polished head, full 3" exhaust, high boost gaskets, blow off valve, turbo timer, boost controller. about 80k miles. not currently running, need to install fuel injectors. needs new tires. very good condition inside and out. $5000 or best offer.(586)634-9135"

that is the ad for the car. How hard is it to install fuel injectors???

thanks :)

As stated, a quick and easy job.

Unplug fuel pump (under back seat) and crank it for a few seconds. This is to relieve the fuel pressure so there's not a lot of fuel in the lines.
Unbolt fuel rail. Make sure you don't lose the spacers. They are underneath the fuel rail where it bolts to the head.
Unbolt fuel lines from the end of the fuel rail if needed. You should be able to do without this step.
Pull injectors out (if there are any in there) and put new ones in.
Then bolt everything back up.

huh...is there really anyway to mess it up, or is kind a it only fits one way thing?

Here's a picture of injectors installed in a rail. They will clip in. Just make sure that the part of the injector that the plug goes into is facing towards the front of the car when installed.

haha thanks bro, I'm gonna look into this car more then because that defiantly seems like an easy thing I can do myself.

I was looking into a ESI Talon because it had 45K on it...but I'm not sure if I can do without the turbo, and I don't really feel like converting it to a turbo yah know. I figure it'd be easier to fine a messed up GST/GSX and fix it.

Be cautious of non-currently-running cars; all they need is X. There may be many other things preventing it from running or other deficiencies that woud be evident it was drivable.
