So, I've got the E16G off, and now I'm bolting up the T-25 (returning the AWD TSi to stock). I have a few questions. On the E16G's oil goes in the top of the turbo, and out of the bottom, and the coolant goes in the back of the turbo and out of the front into the block. Is this correct?

Are these lines set up the same for both the T-25 and E16G?

I have an oil line running from the head to the E16G - is this considered the oil "in" line for the T-25 as well?

on most cars the oil feed line is in the oil filter housing, but if you can connect to the head there shouldnt be a problem. And you are correct with your first question.

I should update my profile! Oops!

Its a 2gb TSI AWD with a 6-bolt. So I'm guessing that I just need some new banjo bolts for the T-25 (the E16G ones won't thread in) and then I can bolt the oil in/out and coolant in/out lines back into the same place as they would be on the E16G?

Thanks so much, I dont know what I would do without you guys!:dsm:

The lines are a completly differnt type for the oil feed. The t25 doesnt use a banjo bolt. It has a fitting that just threads rite in to the turbo. But the rst of the lines are the same. You may have to bend the water lines alittle to work with the t25 because when your putting a 16g on a 2g you have to bend them so im assuming youll have to bend them to install the t25 on the 6bolt. But your best bet for the feed line would be to get a stainless steel line or find a feed line for a t25. You can get the stainless lines from most places that sell turbos you can use the t25 or t28 feed liine.
