Worrying woo sound

For the past couple of days I've been noticing a woo woo woo woo type sound coming from my engine bay I presume. It starts to happen around 50mph and doesn't end till 75mph which I find odd. Everything looks normal as far as glancing at the engine bay and I have no mods in this car still. The only thing thats missing in there is a power steering belt because my pump blew so I removed the belt for the time being. This woo sound seems to match my rpms as well. Has anyone had this problem and what is it?

Can you hear it at idle or is it just when the car is moving? Is it a 5 speed or an auto?

Also! Is it stock or are there any mods?

One more! Are you 100% sure it's coming from the engine bay, or could it be from "down below"?

Could be a bad wheel bearing. They make that sound at different speeds depending on how bad the bearing is. Also, it is very hard to diagnose a sound without actually hearing it and everyone interprets sounds differently. If you could post a video it would help a lot.

It doesnt seem to make a sound at idle and I'll try to get a vid of it today. It only starts at 50mph and then ends at 75 so I find it odd to be a wheel bearing.

Maybe It's your turbo trying to "WOO" you to sleep.

Yeah it sounds like something drivetrain related. Like alice said, maybe a wheel bearing or something. Does it change at all when it is doing it and you turn? If so then wheel bearing is a pretty good guess.

maybe check your a/c pulley? or another pulley? manually rev your engine and listen closely?

If there is a crack in the front bumper skin it will make a "woo" noise at certain speeds. I would check for body panel cracks.

Good idea. There's been times where part of my inner fender plastic will rub against my tire. It would only happen after I got going about 50 mph due to the wind.

Also, this might sound stupid but... have you payed attention to any co-relation of the sound and things that you might be passing on the side of the road (i.e. guardrails, or road markers)??

If it's speed related, it's not going to be anything in the engine bay. Wheel bearings would be the first thing I would check.
