Ok guys I have a couple questions. I KNOW whats involved in converting it. I have a 6 bolt block, Im going to go through and rebuild the WHOLE thing and I figure if im going to go through the entire engine if I buy a used turbo engine Id have to go through and do all this anyway so it is about the same price so I priced it out and its cheaper for me to go through and do it this way. Im going to have the block line honed, and the cylinders bored 20 over, head redone by machine shop with it being O ringed . So far Ive picked up:
Brian Crower 264/272 cams, BC valve springs, big 16G, 2g exhaust mani, downpipe, O2 housing, FMIC, HKS BOV, piping for hard IC lines, stainless oil lines, wiseco .020 8.5:1 pistons & rings, balance shaft removal kit, eagle rods, ARP main studs, ARP head studs, Eprom turbo ECU, and a manual boost controller.
Im going to be picking up a walbro 255 fuel pump, DSM link, and some piping to make the intake I will also have a 3" turbo back installed, and a ACT 2100 clutch, fidanza flywheel, a wideband, boost guage, knock sensor, turbo MAF etc.
My "quest" is for 3-400hp at wheels with not a whole lot of lag im guessing around 20Lbs of boost I know when built the engine will be unstoppable.
I just need to know a couple of things. I was trying to figure out what size injectors I should go with? is there anything completely obvious Im missing?
sound like a decent package? I figure if your going to go through it go through it well. yeah happy holidays to me LOL

650cc injectors are bare minimum for 400hp. However your turbo will limit you to around 350-375ish, so somewhere around 650cc-720cc should be fine. You will also need to wire in a fuel injector resistor pack from a turbo car. I'm not sure what maf you plan on using, but plan on getting something better than a turbo 1g maf at those power levels. I'd suggest a 2g maf(#609), they come on many Mitsu vehicles and can be found in junkyards cheap. Everything else looks good, the o-ringing is a little overkill but it won't hurt anything. Good luck with the build.

so one of my friends offered to trade me his other v2 DSM link chip cable n such out of his crashed 1g for my BOV so I was wondering if I installed the turbo ECU with dsm link in my car would I be able to run the car on the turbo ecu and tune fuel maps and use some helpful functions of dsm link and get used to tuning with it untill I can get the rest of my turbo stuff? or will I be throwing codes all over the place?

no if I put a turbo ECU w/ dsm link in a NT untill I can finish my turbo kit and install it

will the ECU work fine in the NT and wont be looking for other things like a knock sensor and other sensors or throw codes
